I am writing this letter with the highest levels of professional respect for CHIEF, and more specifically my account manager Chris Yates. CHIEF provides the highest quality products available to those working within my profession. Chris has always preformed with the highest levels of professionalism and courtesy while dealing with my colleagues and me. I have nothing but the highest levels of respect for both the company and Chris. My levels of respect for Chris are to the point where I no longer consider him a business partner, but more so a friend.

CHIEF has not always been my first choice as far as a supplier is concerned. It has only been within the last year that CHIEF has become the exclusive go-to company for work items. I started my career working as a reserve officer in a suburb of one of our larger cities within the state of Wisconsin. When Chris started, I was having difficulty with a ballistic vest purchase. Chris went to the extremes to get the situation resolved in a satisfactory way. Based upon his professionalism and respect to my position, even with no knowledge of this particular situation, I became an exclusive customer.

Again, as previously stated, my opinion of CHIEF is high enough that I recommend it to all of my departments and even attempt to facilitate some purchases. In Wisconsin as anywhere word travels quickly, and I am hearing nothing but good comments from those who are making the transition from other companies to CHIEF.

I have been in law enforcement for the past 12 years and have always been a die-hard ——— fan. I took a chance and called CHIEF one day. Since taking over as Sheriff in a small Nebraska county over a year ago, I have dealt with Mark Ernst with your company. I have never had such good customer service. He always takes the time to make sure that what I order is what I need, and the list goes on.

I just got done equiping a new Chevy TrailBlazer, and the only after market products that are in it came from CHIEF, from the expert advice of Mark. We have learned that the TrailBlazer is difficult to equip with "one size fits all" products, but Mark got everything that we needed and the install was simple. I wanted a pair of Danner boots and there was no one else that I would even consider dealing with, other than Mark at CHIEF.

You now have a loyal customer who is telling the surrounding agencies to go exclusively with you. I spend several thousand dollars per year on equipment, and your company will receive the bulk of it. Keep up the good work, and I'll be back shopping again soon. Thanks for everything.

My account manager for the sheriff's office is Mark Ernst. Mark is always eager to help and research any product that I am looking for or have questions about. Over the years, Mark has become part of "our family" at the Henry County Sheriff's Office. When I am in need of supplies or equipment, my first and only call is to Mark.

My wife and I were in Portland, OR, to attend our son's wedding. I had told Mark that we would be near him and he invited us to visit him, if time provided. Fortunately, time did permit us to visit with Mark and the other employees. Our son, my wife and I were treated like "royalty" during our visit. We had a great time and enjoyed getting to meet Mark and the others.

Though this sale may have been of a special nature I have found that she has been very professional in her contacts with our department, even though we are very small and certainly would not be one of her bigger clients.

Because of her efforts on your behalf I have decided that CHIEF will be our primary provider and have removed the other two distributors from our authorized provider list.

I am currently the Chief of Police of the Marblehead Police Department, in Ohio. I have been in law enforcement for a lot of years. I have dealt with numerous suppliers for equipment needs for our department. I currently rely on CHIEF for all my needs now. This is due to the quality of service given by Pam Auld.

I haven't dealt with any of your other employees, but if they are anything like Ms. Auld, then I can say without a doubt, "You have a great staff working for you." Ms. Auld has always answered all my questions. Always dealt with me in a professional manner. Provided me with quality equipment at less cost than your competitors. Has probably went out of her way to ensure the customer is satified. I cannot say enough good about her.

A lot of times we in the public service field/sales do not get recognized for our efforts. I would appreciate it if you would recognize her for this.

On March 4, I emailed 7 companies on the availability and shipping options of a particular Bianchi Accumold Elite Duty Holster. My email was the same for all companies and stated: "Dire need, I need to know if this holster is available for overnight shipping". I am leaving for a 6 week patrol duty and had to have it.

Of the 7 companies, three responded that it was unavailable or on backorder and 3 did not respond. However, Monday morning I received a call first thing from a young lady in your customer support/ sales department. She informed me that not only did she locate one from the manufacturer, but they were going to drop ship, overnight, to me. I know this is not normal procedure and was only accomplished either by her persistence or charm.

Either way, I received my holster today, as promised, and can leave on my patrol without worry. This, ladies and gentlemen, is what customer service is all about.

I love, love, love dealing with CHIEF! Being a smaller department we don't make that many purchases, but when we do they are fairly large ones. I constantly have other vendors and police supply companies calling me. Some of them call me as often as once a week. With other companies I feel like they are just trying to annoy and pressure me into making a purchase with them... And, every time they call I get someone different.

With CHIEF I always get you, Steven Driver. I like that I deal with one person and that you are aware of our needs as a smaller department. I get the routine calls from you but there is a point to them, you aren’t just trying to make a sale. You call to tell me about sales we might be interested in or just to check up on us. Usually when you call it reminds me of something I need to buy and it’s like "Oh, yeah! I did need to call you." I really appreciate that you don't bug me. Plus you have the best phone voice and you always sound sincerely happy to talk to me!

I just want to pass on my thanks and a big appreciation for the superb customer service at CHIEF. Suzi Clapp did an AMAZING job of running down a pair of women's 5.11 pants for my lady friend — going way out of her way to arrange for a drop shipment direct from the factory to my gal's house. It's all the more impressive, given the national back-order status on women's 5.11 pants!

Great service, reasonable prices, and great customer service — I know I already said it once, but it's worth saying it twice. You all just moved to the top of my favorite tactical vendor list.
