It was a highly vulnerable situation that led Brian Quittner, a 14-year veteran of the Santa Barbara Harbor Patrol, to create the QuiqLite pocket light. When Brian found himself literally in the dark after his flashlight (awkwardly tucked under his arm as he wrote a citation) slipped and smashed to the ground, he knew that a practical and reliable light source was needed. Today QuiqLite has found its way into the pockets of thousands of law enforcement, public safety, aviation, government, industrial and recreation personnel, as well as outdoorsmen, technicians, and students.
