Happy 4th of July
From all of us at CHIEF, Happy Independence Day!
We're grateful for the time and freedom to share the Fourth of July with family and friends. And like you, we're also grateful for the men and women at home and abroad who help keep this country free and safe every day. Have a safe and fun Fourth of July!
On a housekeeping note, CHIEF's offices will be closed on July 4 (the website will still be open for business). We'll be back in the office on July 5.

2007 "Top Dog" Springfield K9 Winner
K-9 Gear for Police Dogs and Handlers
Members of CHIEF personnel recently attended the 2007 annual Springfield K9 Competition. Run by the Springfield, Oregon Police Department and the Oregon Police Canine Association (OPCA), the K9 Competition is now in its 12th year. We'd like to extend a hearty "congratulations!" to this year's participants and winners.
We'd especially like to congratulate Officer Jason Harvey, Corvallis PD, and his K9, Czar, for taking "Top Dog" for the second year in a row a competition first!
