January Recap - Public Safety Grants

Big news on the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) program! For a long time we thought this popular program would open up in January, but now it's looking like March before ONDCP opens for applications. We'll keep you posted as we learn more.

Grant writers on the fire side are talking a collective breather, after the Fire Prevention & Safety Grant closed for applications on Jan. 12. Don't take too long a coffee break though. The Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program (AFGP) is expected to open in March, and big changes are expected for this year's AFGP.
