To the Fallen
The past month has been a difficult time for civilians and for all serving in Public Safety. From the 52 dead and 700 injured in the July 7 London bombing, to the 11 wildland firefighters who died in the line of duty in Spain's forest blazes, our thoughts and prayers go out to all the fallen and their loved ones around the world.
Emergency Preparedness: Are You "Semper Paratus"?
"Semper Paratus," or "Always Prepared" is the motto of the U.S. Coast Guard. It strikes us at CHIEF as an apt message nowadays. Bombings in London. A hurricane in Mexico. Wildfires in Spain. Disaster situations can, and do, happen. If an emergency or disaster strikes, are you ready?

Get the Training, Get the Grant: CHIEF Grants Seminars
The Grant Training Public Safety Needs
When we say we'll help you get the grant, we mean it. Example: 37 of Kurt Bradley's 2005 AFGP application customers have told him they've received preliminary award notifications, for a total of $4,025,461. That's an average of $108,796 per department, for everything from new trucks and SCBA, to turnout gear and fire hose.
Ten of these customers attended Kurt's training and more have said they'll be coming to one of our CHIEF Grants Seminars for Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, Corrections and anyone else in public safety seeking grant training. Wouldn't you like to join them? Take your pick:
Aug. 11-12, Portland, OR (still time to register!)
Sept. 19-20, Salt Lake City, UT
Oct. 6-7, Charlotte, NC
Nov. 7-8, Oklahoma City, OK
Jan. 9-10, Orlando, FL
Jan. 23-24, Phoenix, AZ
Feb. 9-10, Houston, TX
Feb. 13-14, Las Vegas, NV
Need more convincing? How about this: You can register today, and payment isn't due until the first day of your CHIEF Grants Seminar.
And if that's not enough... If you aren't satisfied with our grant training, we will return every penny of your registration fees.
What do you have to lose? Nothing. What do you have to gain? Like our 2005 AFGP customers, potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars in grant funding.
Sound good? Great. Go register for a CHIEF Grants Seminar
