DEPUTY SHERIFF OF THE YEAR

Congratulations to Deputy Sheriff Jeffery Cooper, 2004 National Sheriffs' Association Deputy Sheriff of the Year!

In addition to his award, Jeffery also received a plaque and $100 CHIEF Gift Certificate from CHIEF Law Enforcement Sales Manager Ed Southerland. This "thank-you" from CHIEF to Jeffery was in honor of the 14 years of hard work and dedication that has brought Jeffery 17 commendations for bravery and outstanding service to the citizens of Jefferson County, Alabama.

The National Sheriffs' Association 64th Annual Conference and Exhibition was held June 26-30, 2004, in Seattle, Washington. Jeffery's Motorola-sponsored Deputy Sheriff of the Year award was one of many highlights for us at CHIEF and for sheriffs and deputy sheriffs from around the country.
