$230,000 Wildland/ Urban Interface Truck Won Via 2005 AFGP
FF Chester Murphy, of the Farmington VFD in California, stands next to their newly delivered 2007 Freightliner 4x4 Wildland/ Urban Interface truck ($230,000). The truck was awarded through the 2005 AFG program. Chester, a CHIEF Grants client and seminar student, has won 3 additional grants this year, valued at $70,000 in equipment. Since attending a CHIEF Grants training seminar, his award success rate has now increased to better than 80%.
