Some departments are starting to report that they are receiving 1199As and preliminary questions regarding their SAFER grants. If you have an 1199A from a previous grant in your online application, go view it and see if you have been posted with number that starts with "EMW-05-FF-". The FF designation is indicative of SAFER grant. (If it is the FG designation, that is AFGP.) Award rounds should be forthcoming in the next 60 days.
