Some departments are starting to report that they are receiving 1199As and preliminary questions regarding their SAFER grants. If you have an 1199A from a previous grant in your online application, go view it and see if you have been posted with number that starts with "EMW-05-FF-". The FF designation is indicative of SAFER grant. (If it is the FG designation, that is AFGP.) Award rounds should be forthcoming in the next 60 days. If you have received your 10 questions or there is a SAFER award number posted to your 1199A, please email email Kurt Bradley ().
