The ESRI and Stratus Technologies ArcGIS Server Demonstration Project Grant Program is open to all disciplines preparing to develop geographic information system (GIS) data, applications, and/or analytics to move their organizations forward via the next generation of server-based GIS. This program represents a means of providing governments with the foundational tools required to migrate their GIS program to a server-based architecture and is designed for those willing to openly share the source code for the application they develop with their peers.

To meet the goals of the ArcGIS Server Demonstration Project Grant Program, applicants must confirm the availability of framework databases. This program is not designed as a means of initiating a GIS program but rather for established GIS programs.
