Shipping
Sales are FOB, point of shipment. We will ship by the most economical means possible from our nearest warehouse.
Any extra charge incurred for additional services, such as Purchaser's carrier or special handling at the destination, must
be paid by consignee. Title and risk of loss pass to Purchaser on delivery to the common carrier. If product was damaged
or lost in transit, recipient must file claim with carrier.

Secure Special Handling, Restrictions & Product Suitability
Many states and localities have codes and regulations governing sales, construction, installation, and/or use of products
for certain purposes, which may vary from those in neighboring areas. While CHIEF attempts to assure that its products comply
with such codes, it cannot guarantee compliance, and cannot be responsible for how the product is installed or used. Before
purchase and use of a product, please review the product application, and national and local codes and regulations, and
be sure that the product, installation, and use will comply with them.
The U.S. Government also regulates the sale and export and certain products. If you are outside the United States and wish
to order from CHIEF (including but not limited to Law Enforcement products
such as Restraints and
Batons), please
contact us for any restrictions that may prevent shipping and/or placement of your order.
For your protection, CHIEF requires that any customization referencing any law enforcement agency, entity, name or rank be
accompanied by:
- Written and signed authorization on your department's official letterhead
- A photocopy of an official picture identification card.

ATF-Regulated Products
Orders for products requiring authorization from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) must be accompanied by
a signed letter of intent written on agency letterhead. Please allow 4-8 weeks for ATF approval. Per ATF regulations, products
must be dropshipped directly to your agency.

Federal Excise Tax Exemption
Certain ammunition and firearm products are subject to a Federal Excise Tax (FET) of 11%. We recommend drop-shipping these
products directly to your agency, as State and Local agencies can provide a tax exempt certificate. The Department of Defense
and the US Coast Guard are the only Federal agencies that are exempt from the excise tax requirements. All other Federal
institutions are not tax exempt.

Returns

- We will gladly refund, credit or exchange your new or unused items within 90 days
- We will repair or replace any product or part which proves to be defective in workmanship or material
- Please note that free gifts received with an item(s) you need to return must be returned as well
- Custom/personalized items such as badges, nameplates and embroidered apparel may only be returned if we err
- In order to return apparel, tags and labels must still be attached to the garment. Apparel without tags and labels is not
returnable

Manufacturers' Warranties & Sales Literature
Most of the products supplied to CHIEF are warranted to the final consumer by their manufacturer. Copies of such warranties
are supplied with the product or are available from the manufacturer. As a service, CHIEF will obtain copies of consumer
warranties from the warrantor and will furnish them free of charge to Purchasers who request them. Address requests to:
CHIEF, Inc., Attn: Sales Support, P.O. Box 481888, Charlotte, NC 28269 USA. Requests must include the manufacturer's model
number of each product for which a copy of the warranty is requested. CHIEF may also furnish sales brochures and other literature
of the manufacturer. CHIEF assumes no responsibility for the content of such warranties or sales literature by performing
this service.

beyond the control of CHIEF in the conduct of its business.

- You agree to indemnify and release CHIEF from any liabilities arising out of or relating to your providing said Testimonial.
