Features and Specifications:

  • The Recycler™ Water Purification Trailer System has 2 primary uses:
    • Filters and purifies drinking water: up to either 1200 (Recycler™-20) or 2400 (Recycler™-40) gallons of water per hour (gph) to provide cleaner, fresher water for most emergency purposes
    • Filters and purifies used shower water and returns clean, fresh water to the showers in a recycled system
  • See First Water Purification Equipment in Action! (please be patient while videos load)
    • From flood water to drinking water in New Orleans (Windows Media Player)

  • View/Download Full Product Information for Each Model of the Recycler™ Water Purification and Filtration System:
  • System Specifications:
    • Purifies up to 2,400 gallons per hour
    • Trailer Size: 6-ft. x 8-ft., single axle, rear door entry, 1-1/4" hitch ball
    • 50 feet of outlet hoses and 50 feet of inlet hoses provide flexibility for trailer placement
    • Strong self-priming, removable on-board pump
    • Bladder system enables off-peak purification and storage of purified water for peak usage times
    • AC-powered from generators or emergency vehicles
    • Easy, fast setup with near-instant water production and tear down
    • System Controller: On/ Off Power Center Controller with float switch to automatically provide dry run protection on the inlet side (for when the outside tank is emptied), and an overflow protection for the outlet side (for when the outside tank is full)
    • Standard brass plumbing fixtures and size for attaching to portable showers
    • Uses its own hose setups and pumps to pull water through a series of washable/reusable filters, sediment filters, carbon block filters and lastly a bank of Ultraviolet (UV) disinfecting lamps
    • Uses the same patented technology available from all First Water purification equipment systems, but in a much larger scale
    • Under normal conditions, the systems reduce harmful chemicals and effectively kill biological organisms to acceptable levels
    • If excessive amounts of chemicals are known to be in the water, the system should not be used
    • Will not remove the salt form seawater
  • Recycler™ water purification systems contain a self-priming pump that pulls water from any available source of non-salinated water, such as low pressure water mains, surface water, wells, swamps, etc.
  • Water that has been saturated in Clean Water's patented process kills bacteria and viruses that can cause diseases such as Typhoid Fever, Dysentery, Cholera, Infectious Jaundice, Hepatitis, Influenza, and Enteric Fever
  • The combination of filtration and UV disinfection consistently produces cleaner, safer drinking water
  • Common uses for Emergency Management include:
    • Designed to be pulled behind SUVs, pickup trucks or light duty vehicles
    • Enables recycling of shower water from emergency/decon showers
    • Reduces the need for shuttling water to camp
  • How Does the First Water filter and purify water?
    • Unique patented technology and process
    • Standard hoses and connections with quick-connect ends
    • Sediment filter for dirty or cloudy water provides water clarity and removes suspended debris and contaminants (filter can be repeatedly cleaned)
    • No need to replace any components for at least 6 months
    • 0.5 micron carbon "polishing" block makes water crystal clear and is capable of reducing Giardia Lamblia, Cyst, Cryptosporidium, bad taste, odors, color, chlorine, THMs (trihalalomethanes), certain VOCs (volatile organic compounds), pesticides and many other harmful contaminants (carbon block requires replacement every 6 months with normal usage)
    • Crystal clear water is then saturated with high-power ultraviolet light (UV) through a patented "double-pass" process, effectively neutralizing harmful biological contaminants (UV bulb requires replacement every 12 months with normal usage)
  • Creates Safe, Potable Drinking Water and Decontamination Water:
    • Effectively kills a minimum of 99.9999% of bacteria and harmful organics
    • Effectively reduces hundreds of common chemicals and contaminants
    • Exceeds US EPA Guide Standard Protocol for Microbiological Water Purifiers
    • All carbon block filters used in all systems carry an NSF Approval Rating
    • UV light system carries a Certificate of Analysis
  • Maintenance:
    • Sediment filter is washable and reusable. When water flow slows down, it's time to clean the filter. If water flow does not improve, replace the filter
    • Carbon block polishing filter is not cleanable, and needs to be changed after approximately 5,000 gallons or six (6) months
    • Ultraviolet (UV) tube life expectancy under daily usage is 12 to 18 months
    • Note that these are only guidelines. Actual maintenance may vary depending on usage
  • Manufacturer's Warranty:
    • Three (3) years for all components, except the pump, electrical components, and filters
    • One (1) year for the pump and electrical components
    • Filters and batteries are not warranted
