Features and Specifications:

• Hood material: single-layer blend of carbon/ high strength aramid, approximately 6.5 oz. sq. yd.
• 1 x 1 rib knit fabric allows approximately 200% stretch for maximum stretch and recovery
• Calendared to minimize laundry shrinkage
• All stitching conforms to Federal Standard 751 Specifications (FED-STD-751)
• Major assembly seams are serged with 503 stitch type and then reinforced with top and bottom cover-stitch, stitch type 605
• Elastic in face opening is serged with stitch type 504 and reinforced with bottom cover-stitch, stitch type 406
• Bound bottom is cover-stitched with 406 stitch type
• All seams are sewn with 100% Nomex thread, size 45/3
• Seamed from top of face opening to bottom back, then cover-stitched for extra strength
• The bottom edge of hood and small face opening are bound with self-material bias binding
• Each hood is clearly labeled to identify material contents, warning statement and care instructions
