Features and Specifications:
- APPLICATION: The Skat Shell-37 is most widely used as a crowd management tool for the rapid and broad deployment of chemical agent from a 37mm gas gun by a single grenadier
- The Skat Shell-37 contains five (5) separate submunitions that function individually once the round is discharged
- The small scattering effect and the rapid burning of the submunition canisters provides a wide area of coverage and minimizes the "throwback" potential
- This round may be fired in the air at an angle of approximately 25-30 degrees to achieve maximum standoff distance, or it may be skip fired into the target area from lesser distances
- When launching, it is recommended to have a spotter to ensure no canisters light on roof tops or other area of fire concern. It is also recommended to have a spotter ensure that the canisters do not enter windows or doorways when skip fired
- The Skat Shell-37 is designed for outdoor use and has fire-producing capability. It is not intended for barricade penetration. Do not fire directly at personnel, as serious injury or death may result
- A 15% handling fee will be added to orders shipping outside of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and the Southern Oregon counties of Coos, Curry, Douglas, Harney, Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, Lake, Lane, and Malheur. The fee will be added after your munitions order has been placed and verified by Customer Service.
