Outer shell of P.B.I.^®/ Lenzing FR^®, inner comfort lining of 7-oz. Nomex^®/Lenzing^®. This N.F.P.A. Fire Hood is tested at a T.P.P. rating of 31.1 initially, increasing to a 40 rating after five washings.

All seams sewn with 100% Nomex^® thread
Shoulders are contoured to reduce bunching
Seamless chin area and improved patterning for the ultimate in comfort, fit and protection
Rib knit fabric construction stretches and recovers 35% better than typical hood fabrics
Face opening is circular and measures 5" in diameter
Heavier elastic in the face opening stretches 25% more than conventional hoods for easy donning and snug fit around face and S.C.B.A. mask
Elastic face opening stretches to a full 17", easily clearing S.C.B.A. buckles and straps while fitting securely over all styles of S.C.B.A.'s
Designed to provide coverage of the neck, but is 3" longer than NFPA requires
