Features and Specifications:

  • Select 2-5 lines of custom text per tag
  • Color tags with white letters available in: Red, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Brown, Green, Gray, Black, Light Blue, Bright Green, White (Tags with Black letters add $.50 each)
  • An additional $18 setup charge applies to orders of 10 tags or less, first-time custom-tag orders only

  • Track crew members by name, squad and department to ensure that all personnel are accounted for

  • How does an Accountability System work? Each firefighter receives an accountability tag. Then the firefighters are trained that they must "tag in" (give his tag to the Safety or Sector Officer) before entering the structure. (Tracking personnel can manage incident and team status via Accountability Boards.)
  • Immediately upon exiting the structure the firefighter must collect his tag so the Officer knows he returned safely. (Many Departments use a two tag system where they also "tag in" to the truck. This is useful to the Incident Commander when evaluating the available resources.)
  • What are accountability tags?
    • Engraved durable plastic
    • Available in variety of colors and formats
    • Color coding can be used to differentiate Interior firefighters, Probies, Medics etc. as well as differentiate Fire Companies and Departments within a Mutual Aid Group
    • Medical Warning can be engraved on the back side (for an additional charge)
