"I work for the Sheriff's department in Cook County. I have to say these pants are the most durable out there. They last about 1 1/2 years with everyday use and washing. They do not fade and the comfort waist is the best. I highly reccomend these pants to anyone in the field."

"The design and manufacture quality of these pants are Grade A. The waist is a much better system than the pull buckle strap type by far(I noticed it first time I put them on and didn't have a belt on yet). After receiving them and giving the once over the reviewer from Cook's County comment about durability looks right on target(and a big determining factor to my trying them). Also for this style and use pants they have a very sort of...upscale appropriate appearance to them while being functional and comfortable. If you pick them up during one of Chief's numerous sales events the price will be next to if not impossible to beat."
