"Absolutely comfortable right out of the box.These boots work great for me because I always had a problem with my feet sweating in waterproof boots.They are just as advertised keeping your feet dry.These boots are so comfortable you look forward to putting them on( no kidding)Side pockets come in handy also.Side zippers are great too,although I do have to untie the top lace to get my foot out.Maybe I have a fat foot though."

"Ibought my first pair of 511 boots about 6 weeks ago. Just one thing I don't like about them taking them off. I've always had a problem with gettinga pair of boots to fit with out having to put up with sore feet till the boot was broken in not so with 511 storm fit and felt great out of the box"

"I bought two pairs of these boots about a year ago. 5.11 is supposed to be a high quality company-I found them to be anything but. I have used Chief supply for a few years now and they have been great, so my compliant is only directed at 5.11 company. I recieved my boots and they had been made at the factory and mislabeled. I contacted 5.11 about this issue, and they were quick to submit a reply by email stating that they would be glad to have the boots quality checked. I immediatly replied stating that i want to have them checked and i heard nothing back after a week. I sent 7 more emails over the next 6 weeks to no avail. Finally, i found the VP's email and began to email him, which finally caused the original person to respond to my original email. come to find out the first person that i was trying to deal with was a customer service supervisor. I degress...So, after 2 months, i was able to have the boots sent back to the factory. after another month, i hadn't heard anything else. I began to call again and send emails, after 2 weeks of that, they replied saying they recieved the boots and they were still sitting in QC and they would send me any information as it became available. another 4 weeks pass with no further information. I Call again and the lady responded after 3 day, a great improvement. She told me that the boot hadnt been inspected but they would send me another pair and she would email me a tracking number as soon as she mails them. Yet another 2weeks pass and i hadnt heard anything. So, i again begin to call and email-boots show up next day with no response. 5.11 customer service is GARBAGE. With all that hassle, the boots began to fall apart after 2 months of use as a CO. I spent more time trying to get my product than actually being able to use them. I will continue to use chief supply but I will never buy 5.11 again. The other officers i work with have had the same quality issues with the product lasting"
