"The Uni one works great in my 2005 Impala and in the new Chev Capre. The only problem I had with this product is I had to buy steel screws because the ones that came with it rusted really fast because of the cool air."

"We purchased this as a birthday gift for our son that is a Sheriff's Deputy. He loves it! And, his fellow officers are wanting to order one since they have tested his out. It has been very hot here in the South for quite some time. He has to be outside of his car frequently, with a lot of gear to wear. When he returns to his vehicle, he immediately puts the Body Armor Air Conditioning inside his vest. Cools him off very quickly :O)"

"I have been using this product for a couple weeks now, has made a huge difference in how long it takes me to cool down once I get back in the car. Wish I could use it all the time but I do have the occasional trainee or partner that likes to have some air also.
I do think it is a little on the expensive side for what it consists of and several of the deputies from my agency have made their own because they didn't want to pay so much for it. It does appear to be well made though and I expect it will last a long time."

"After spending a large amount of money on this thing, I followed the installation instructions (universal attachment version) and was unable to ever get it attached to either vehicle I tried it in. After hours of work, I scrapped it entirely. Such a good idea, but I just could never get it to install, and I'm usually quite good at this sort of thing. Too bad.
Another note, they don't tell you this before you buy the universal attachment, but it's a "semi-permanent" installation, meaning you don't want this thing for a patrol vehicle unless it's permanently assigned to you. If you are ever actually able to get it installed, you definitely won't be quickly removing it after your shift."
