"Except when it's very well conceived and manufactured as is the case of this Tru-Spec 1 3/4" Range Belt. I concur with the points brought up by the previous review but must add I haven't had the back side belt buckle corner/waist situation arise although under certain specific circumstance
I can see how it could happen. The Buckle does however cinch up and hold position very well and the 1 3/4" width is at home on TDU's, BDU's and Blue Jeans. I'm a half size on clothing, if it's measured size is S-M-L-XL...etc, always I land right between on the dash -. And I['m yet to find Blue Jeans in half sizes. Add to that the natural padding associated with the gluteus most people have I got shorted on(hip width too). So when it comes to pants belts and job they are to perform...Expert status here by necessity. I can bend down pick up a dropped coin and the pants thanks to this Tru-Spec belt don't need the quick tug up upon standing again. For me personally this belt is a "Five Star ++" item fer sure."

"I have purchased four of these after I figured-out how to put them on correctly and they work great. I like the idea of different color choices to contrast or match what pant I am wearing. I bought the large just to make sure I would have a llittle extra to thread the end back through buckle. They are a great looking belt, very tactical. Belt keeper not real practical though."

"This belt is a bargain, but with all bargains, there are trade offs. The webbing is good quality, and stiff. The buckle is painted metal, I'm not sure if it's some type of aluminum alloy or stainless steel, but it's not magnetic. I'm pretty sure this isn't parachute rated hardware, so I wouldn't use it as a riggers belt. I bought this solely as a trouser belt. My beef with this belt is the backside of the buckle has corner edges s on it that dig into my waist when I'm sitting. If these edges were rounder, it would be more comfortable."
