"I’m always skeptical ordering shoes on-line, due to concerns on fit. However, these boots were sized in a manner that was consistent with my actual foot size, so the fit was just right. They’re a comfortable, good looking boot that appear to be well built - time will tell. Overall, I’m pleased with the purchase. The socks and free shipping were a nice perk."

"Bought the Fort Hood boot mainly for HD riding. I have owned Rocky's in the past and at this price I could not pass them up.

Took a few days to break them in, but have been great solid boot that have tested to be very water proof. They are a bit bulkier than other duty boots so if plan to due some running you may want to check else where.

The only real draw back I can find with them is that they tend to be a bit warm on 85 degree + days, but then would work good in colder temps.

I will be buying another pair of Foot Hood boots."

"This is my 2nd pair of Fort hoods. My 1st pair are still in excellent condition, but they're so comfortable that I wanted a pair for off-duty too They're excellent for warm and cool weather, but a nice pair of thermal socks can take these well into winter weather"
